Online Classes FAQ

ENROLLMENT

How do I enroll in an online class?

You will need to sign-up for an online class. Go to the Online Classes Main Page here and select your desired class and click its name. This should lead you to a more detailed page containing instructions on how to complete your enrollment found in the section, “ENROLLMENT INFORMATION”.

I signed up and paid for a particular Online Class of yours but I was cut off because the class cap has already been reached. What are my options?
  1. An alternate date will be offered to you via email if there are enough students to form a class, which is 8-10 students, depending on the nature of the class.
  2. If you can’t make it to the alternate date, we can give you class credit that you can apply to another schedule of the same class, if any, or other Online Classes.
  3. We can also give you a refund for the fee that you had paid.

CLASS INFORMATION

How long will an online class take?

Each class is unique; different classes have different time allotments. The Hybrid classes are 1.5 to 2.5 hours long, while Live classes can last for a maximum of 4 hours.

What is the difference between Hybrid and Live online class?

Hybrid classes are pre-recorded demo classes that feature more intricate, time-intensive recipes and live Q&A breaks with the chef instructor, condensed in a span of 1.5 to 2.5 hours per session.

Live classes are short recipe classes done in real-time for a maximum of 4 hours per session, guided by our chef instructor.

What is the format of your online classes?

All classes are conducted via Zoom and scheduled on Philippine Standard Time, regardless of online class type.
Each class features a segmented cooking demo with live Q & A discussion breaks in between where students can interact with the chef instructor. Each class ends with taking a class photo with the chef instructor.

What if the Online Class I want to take is full?

If there is enough demand, we may be able to form another class. The minimum number of students required to form an online class is eight (8) to ten (10) students depending on the nature of the class.

Can I get a recorded video copy of the class demo?

As a general policy, we do not give out video recordings of the class demo. If you need some clarification or further explanations regarding the lesson, we would be happy to address them. Please email your questions to info@henysison.com.

ATTENDANCE

What if I cannot attend or need to withdraw from the online class I enrolled in?

Please note that we do not offer refunds for classes that you’re unable to attend. Upon your enrollment, you would have already received a copy of the Class Handout.

For Online Classes, what is your policy for latecomers?

Our classes start on time, so we recommend that you log in at least fifteen (15) minutes early to be able to test your audio and video before being admitted to the Zoom session.

Please note that we do not offer refunds for tardiness.
