DESCRIPTION
Training Dates: April 23-25 & 27-28, 2026, Thursday to Saturday & Monday to Tuesday Ages: 12 years old and up Cooking is an essential life skill—not just about preparing gourmet meals, but about learning how to confidently make everyday dishes that nourish you and the people around you. Whether you’re a teenager preparing for independence or an adult looking to strengthen your kitchen skills, this class focuses on practical cooking that everyone should know. In this 5-day workshop, participants will learn how to prepare simple, satisfying meals such as pasta dishes, baked dinners, egg-based breakfasts, sandwiches, rice bowls, and comforting one-pot meals. These fundamental cooking techniques help build confidence in the kitchen and support independence in daily life. Join us as we develop practical cooking skills, discover flavorful recipes, and unlock your potential to create delicious home-cooked meals. Day 1- Pasta: Fresh Pasta, Bolognese, Shrimp Scampi, Carbonara, and Vongole. Day 2- Baked Dinners: Stuffed Bell Peppers, Creamy Paprika Chicken, Cottage Pie, and Baked Miso Salmon. Day 3- Eggs and Sandwiches: Poached Eggs like Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise Sauce, Breakfast Pita with Avocado, Hard-boiled Eggs and Bacon, Croque Monsieur with Fried Egg, and Breaded Ham and Cheese Sandwich with Creamy Scrambled Eggs. Day 4- Rice Bowls and Dishes: Red and Black Paella, Hainanese, Chicken Clay Pot, and Arroz Caldozo. Day 5- In a Pot: Arroz a la Cubana, Curry Laksa, Swedish Meatballs, and Roast Chicken Croquetas. Build confidence in the kitchen and learn practical recipes you can prepare anytime for yourself, family, and friends.CLASS FORMAT: ON-SITE
On-site classes are short recipe classes done in real-time, conducted here in our school, and scheduled on Philippine Standard Time. Each session is guided by our chef instructor and can last for a maximum of 4 to 6 hours.
ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
SIGNING UP
Sign-up for your chosen on-site class by clicking SIGN UP, which will direct you to the Student Sign-up Form that you need to fill-out. You will then receive an acknowledgment email confirming your sign-up along with instructions on how to complete your enrollment. If you have signed up for a class and have not received a confirmation within 3 days, please email info@henysison.com so we can help you out.
COMPLETE YOUR ENROLLMENT
To complete your enrollment, the student must pay in full. Please send your proof of payment within one (1) banking day. Enrollment is on a first-come-first-served basis as we have a class cap.

CLASS CAP
Please note that we have a maximum limit of enrolled students per class, to ensure the personalized teaching approach. In the event of unusually high demand, we reserve the right to adjust the Class Cap. However, we will make sure that this will not adversely affect our interactive and personalized teaching method. If needed, we will schedule another class. Check our Online Classes page for updates.
CLASS MATERIALS
On the day of the class, you will receive your Class Handout that will include the list of ingredients, and recipe procedure.
Before the class starts, you will be given an apron for hands-on classes.
After the class, you will receive your Certificate of Completion.
ATTENDANCE
Our classes start on time, so we recommend that you come at least twenty (20) minutes early.
Attendance will be checked.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for classes that you’re unable to attend.
