Born in Milan, Italy, Chef Patrick Cruz spent over a decade developing his culinary skills across the Lombardia region of Italy. After graduating from the Scuola Alberghiera, he immersed himself in traditional northern Italian kitchens, where he mastered the precise arts of making authentic pasta, Italian pizza, and artisanal gelato entirely from scratch. In 2021, Chef Patrick relocated to the Philippines with a clear mission: to share the true, uncompromised flavors of genuine Italian food with Filipino diners. He quickly established himself in the local culinary scene, serving as Head Chef for various established Italian restaurants. His authentic approach and strong kitchen leadership eventually led him to join forces with culinary pioneer Chef Heny Sison. Today, Chef Patrick uses his decade of European experience to manage high-standard kitchen operations while giving local guests a true taste of Italy. By joining the faculty at Heny Sison Culinary School, Chef Patrick continues to share his passion for authentic Italian cuisine through culinary classes helping aspiring chefs and food enthusiasts master the craft of handmade pasta, artisan pizza, and classic Italian specialties while preserving the rich culinary heritage of his homeland.
